Update: The crazy storm panic, reading, and music.

Hi dolls!

This post will be a little gap-filler for some of you :)

I haven't updated in like 2 days! :/ crazyyyyy for me because I make at least one post per day.

The reason for this is this famous beauty named Hurricane Irene. 

It struck us here where I live and created suchhhhh a panic. 

I was honestly not sleeping last night... waking up every 5 minutes thinking I was possibly going to die right then and there. ( A little dramatic, I must say! LOL)

But, the storm passed and the only good thing that I can say about it was that it made me want to catch up on my book. I started reading a new book- Dawn by Octavia Butler.  ( It's so cozy to snuggle up with a good book! :) Oh god, I'm such a nerd!)

Another sci-fi book! 

All I can say is that it's a good book so far and I'm excited to see what happens next to the main character.

I have also been listening to a lot of music... very unusual because I don't really listen to much music.

My absolute favorite is jar of Hearts by Christina Perri...

She is soooo talented and absolutely gorgeous!!!

Review: Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Rose Petal

Today is my parents anniversary... Happy Anniversary guys!

Later today we are all having dinner together.

So, I was looking through my makeup to see what I wanted to put on today and I found a little jewel!

This blush has been lying in my makeup bag for quiet a while without me using it. I remember when I first got it, it was my favorite thing ever. But with time, I kinda forgot about it ( sorry :(  little blush)

It's the Dream Mousse Blush from Maybelline in Rose Petal.

The color is a toned down pink with lots of gold sparkles.

Left- Blended out
Right- Swatched once

FORMULA: 4/5

The consistency of this blush is very light and airy, however, after you blend it out on your skin you can still feel the product. Also, the color reduces in concentration once you blend it out, so it becomes very sheer. Mostly, you see the gold shimmers in the blush on your face.

PRICE: 3/5

The price of this blush is $7.49 for 0.2 ounces. I think that it's pretty expensive for so little product.

PACKAGING: 4.5/5

I really like the jar packaging of this product, because of it the product does not dry up very quickly. However, it's very heavy and bulky.

WOULD I RE-PURCHASE: Probably not because of the price and there is enough product to last me a long time.

WOULD I RECOMMEND IT TO YOU? : Yes, give it a try if you have extra bucks. The gold shimmers are very beautiful on tanner skin.

OOTD- Dark Green Skinnies

Today I had put on this outfit to go out with some girlfriends. It wasn't chilly today, but pretty cool. So, I took this opportunity to put on some jeans ( technically "leggings" but they feel more like thin jeans).

I paired it with a simple shirt and a long purple necklace. Dark green looks really well with purple since they are both considered jewel tones.

Now that I have rested and gotten back into the swing of things here, I can share an OOTD with you. I learned that OOTD's are the most wanted posts on my blog! (Which is cool 'cause they are my fave to do :) )

I love this outfit! The shirt is so cute ( I like the way it comes up in the front and has lots of ruffles.) The shorts are also really cool... they have that ripped and worn-out look to them which is really appealing to me.

Finally Back!!

Hiya everybody!

I'M BACK! :D

After a long and amazingly fun trip I am back to blogging!

I was so happy to see my blog again and to write you guys a little letter... and give a HUGEE thank you and a warm welcome to my new followers! :)

I had a very interesting and wild trip. To anybody who doesn't know, I went to various countries within Europe. Ahhhh, soooo many things happened on my trip! I met new friends and had a blast with them. 

And then... well.... let me just advise you not to start a relationship in a different country ( but, I guess it happens to everybody sometimes ;) LOL)

I'm excited to start posting again... lots of new and fun posts on the way!
